The video prompted outrage online, with users criticizing the violence against the woman and demanding municipal authorities intervene and take action against the public servant.
Reports indicate that Hernández Páramo arrived at the school after being alerted to an alleged attack on his wife and daughter, leading to a confrontation. The footage shows a woman being pinned to the ground and subsequently struck during the altercation in front of the school. Bystanders attempted to intervene as children could be heard crying and witnesses shouted for the aggression to stop.
In response to the video's release, the Tlaltizapán de Zapata Municipal Government, led by Mayor Nancy Gómez Flores, announced the immediate removal of the official. An official statement from the municipality confirmed that the incident took place around 12:25 PM and that prompt institutional action was taken due to the severity of the events.
