Invea evita dos fiestas clandestinas para adolescentes en la Cuauhtémoc

Recent operations by the Instituto de Verificación Administrativa (Invea) in Mexico City successfully prevented two large clandestine parties for teenagers in the Cuauhtémoc borough. These parties were reported to have significant structural issues, as well as allegations of alcohol and drug sales.
The operations took place on the night of November 7, in response to citizen complaints from the Obrera and Roma Norte neighborhoods. Invea inspectors arrived at the venues that were being advertised for the events via social media and flyers. It was found that the attendees were primarily minors and that alcoholic beverages were being served.
At the location in Obrera, authorities discovered indications of drug use, leading to the detention of three individuals who were subsequently referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office. Meanwhile, in Roma Norte, Civil Protection personnel identified serious structural damages in the building, including significant cracks in load-bearing walls, which posed a risk to safety. These findings were documented in official inspection reports.
Invea emphasized that the organizers of these events falsely promoted them as "safe and recreational parties," but in reality, they represented a substantial risk. The venues failed to comply with Civil Protection regulations, and the organizers did not possess the required permits for hosting such large gatherings.
